Doctor PhD Degree International Studies

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in International Studies (via distance learning) uses a cross-disciplinary approach to major political, economic, social, and cultural issues. It analyzes phenomena in an increasingly globalized world and considers the impact of international relations between nations. It also includes comparative politics from several perspectives, the economics of globalization, the effects of international law, and social and cultural diversity transformed by globalization.

Study is delivered through a flexible distance learning format for adults. The program structure is 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a master’s program, with a composition of 60 academic credits from International Studies Online and 18 academic credits from research methodology and the final project or thesis. Fees include program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.
