Doctor PhD Degree Linguistics

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Linguistics via distance learning focuses on the structural and interpretive parts of language, including morphology, phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, variation, and change. It is also cognitively oriented and includes pragmatics, psychology of language, language acquisition, and language and the brain. The program includes coverage of linguistic methodology.

The program is delivered through distance learning. The structure is 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. Students complete 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program.
