Doctor PhD Degree Military Engineering

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Military Engineering via distance learning focuses on the design and building of military facilities and the maintenance of military lines of transport and communication. It covers combat engineering, strategic support, and ancillary support, including work such as digging trenches and building temporary facilities, construction and upgrading of ports, roads, railways, and the provision and distribution of maps and disposal of unexploded warheads. Military engineers also construct and repair bases, airfields, roads, bridges, ports, and hospitals.

The program is structured as 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program and includes 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis, plus credits for Military Engineering Online and other additional subjects. Admission is for adults over 27 years of age, and it is open for postgraduate level continuing education.
