Doctor PhD Degree Mining Engineering

This Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Mining Engineering via distance learning covers mining technology and the tasks a mining engineer performs across a mine’s life cycle, including searching for deposits, determining a site’s value, mineral extraction, and post-mining reclamation. It focuses on sustainable land management that meets economic and environmental needs. The degree covers both aboveground and underground mining methods for metals, nonmetals, and fuels.

The program is delivered as flexible distance learning for adults and professionals. It has a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. Students complete 45 to 72 academic credits, including 42 academic credits for Mining Engineering Online and 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. The average duration is 24 months.

Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age, and it requires a Master’s degree or international equivalent (5 years of study). The degree uses BIU earned credits linked to academic work reports, projects, and thesis. Payment plans are available upon request up to 36 monthly installments, and fees include program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.
