Doctor PhD Degree Museology

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Museology via distance learning introduces museology and museum management. It covers the management of human and fiscal resources, collections, facilities, and information. It also looks at museums in their social and cultural context, their history, the influence of information technology, contemporary exhibitions, and museums as complex organizations.

The program is structured as 70% textbooks and 30% thesis, with an average duration of 24 months. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program. The composition includes 36 academic credits for Museology Online and additional subjects, plus 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. Fees include program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.

Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age. A Master's degree or international equivalent (5 years of study) is required for admission.
