Doctor PhD Degree Organizational Studies

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Organizational Studies via distance learning examines how individuals construct organizational structures, processes, and practices, and how these shape social relations and create institutions that influence people. It also focuses on how public and private institutions require organizational models to respond to changing global, socioeconomic, and technological conditions. The program addresses how the boundaries between organizations and customers, citizens, businesses, and professionals become less defined.

Learning is delivered through a structure made up of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. The program requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a master’s program. It includes 36 academic credits for Organizational Studies Online and 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. The average duration is 24 months, and it is offered for adults over 27 years of age. The academic supervisor is Jennifer Dustow.
