Doctor PhD Degree Petroleum Natural Gas Engineering

This Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering introduces reservoir and drilling engineering design and their applications to petroleum and natural gas projects. Students learn to identify and formulate problems in reservoir engineering and petroleum and natural gas extraction, and they develop practical solutions. The program is designed to prepare students to take responsibility in technical and managerial areas within the oil and gas industry.

It is delivered online via distance learning. The program requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program, with an average duration of 24 months. The structure is 70% textbooks and 30% thesis, with 39 academic credits for Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering online and 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. It is for adults over 27 years of age.
