The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Petroleum & Natural Gas Production introduces concepts of reservoir and drilling engineering design and how they apply to petroleum and natural gas projects. Students learn to identify and formulate problems in reservoir engineering and petroleum and natural gas extraction, and apply practical solutions to technical and managerial responsibilities within the oil and gas industry.
The program is delivered online via distance learning. It uses a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. Academic credit requirements are 45 to 72, with 39 credits from Petroleum & Natural Gas Production Online and 18 credits from research methodology and a final project or thesis.
