The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Renewable Energies covers energy conversion and the utilization and storage of renewable technologies such as wind, solar, biomass, fuel cells, and hybrid systems. It includes thermodynamics for modeling renewable energy systems and addresses the environmental consequences of energy conversion, including how renewable energy can reduce air pollution and global climate change.
It is delivered as flexible distance learning. The program structure is 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. The total study requirement is 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program, with an average duration of 24 months. Learning includes a Research methodology and final project or thesis component.
