Doctor PhD Degree Security Safety Studies

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Security & Safety Studies is a distance learning PhD program with an interdisciplinary approach to theoretical and practical aspects of risks and threats. It covers topics including crisis management, security engineering, natural and man-made disasters and emergencies, risk management, and control, protection and mitigation issues.

The program requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program and uses a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It includes Security & Safety Studies Online and research methodology and a final project or thesis. The program is designed for adults over 27 years of age.
