Doctor PhD Degree Social Work

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Social Work via distance learning explores the influence of new ideas and clinical experience on social work practice. It covers therapeutic approaches including psychology, crisis intervention, client-centered theory, transactional analysis, systems theory, task-centered social work, and neuro-linguistics. The program supports social work students in learning and integrating ongoing theoretical developments to support services for clients.

Study is delivered through distance learning. The program structure is 70% textbooks and 30% thesis, with 45 to 72 academic credits required. The academic composition includes 27 academic credits for Social Work Online and other additional subjects, plus 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. Fees include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.

Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age. Admission requires a master’s degree or an international equivalent with 5 years of study. The program is administered by an academic supervisor, Djaber Nacer Eddine.
