Doctor PhD Degree Sport Management

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Sport Management via distance learning provides an overview of the sport management discipline. It covers fundamental principles and current practical issues, linking sport management to sociological, cultural, historical, political, psychological, and legal concepts. The course also examines professional skills and attitudes for sport managers, how the globalization of sports affects sport management professions, and the significance of sports as an international social institution.

Students study through an online distance format. The program uses a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program and includes 36 academic credits for Sport Management Online plus 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis.
