Doctor PhD Degree Sustainable Architecture

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Sustainable Architecture via distance learning explores technically, energetically, and/or ecologically efficient techniques to construct houses and buildings, and the means to accomplish them. It also illustrates sustainable design principles through case studies of worldwide sustainable buildings.

Study is delivered as a flexible distance learning program. The program uses a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis, and includes case-study-based learning plus research methodology and a final project or thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master's program, with an average duration of 24 months.

Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age. A Master's degree or international equivalent (5 years of study) is required for admission. Previous knowledge in this field of study is required.
