Doctor PhD Degree Technological Science

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Technological Science studies technology by linking engineering and science. It covers technology structure and function, how technology affects the environment, and the social and cultural context in which it is developed and used. It also reviews the full life cycle of technology, from purpose and design through manufacture, utilization, and disposal or recycling.

Students study via distance learning. The program structure is 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. Admission is described for adults over 27 years of age and requires a Master’s degree or international equivalent. The program uses research methodology and a final project or thesis as part of the academic credits required.
