Grado en Enfermeria Eu de Enfermeria de Avila Centro Adscrito

The Grado en Enfermería (University of Salamanca) trains generalist nursing professionals with scientific preparation. It aims to prepare graduates to describe, identify, treat, and compare health problems that nursing can address. The approach considers the individual in biological, psychological, and social dimensions.

The degree lasts 4 years (240 ECTS), organized into semester courses. Basic training totals 60 ECTS and is concentrated in the first year. Specific or required training totals 79 ECTS, taught mostly in the last two courses, and electives total 3 ECTS. Clinical external placements account for 92 ECTS across all semesters except the first, and the final degree project is 6 ECTS in the last course.

Clinical placements take place in the Public Health System of Castilla y León in the Área de Ávila (one hospital practice center and six primary care centers) and at the Assisted Geriatric Residence “Infantas Elena y Cristina” of the Provincial Council of Ávila. The training is delivered in EU de Enfermería de Ávila (affiliated center) and other listed centers, with the degree title managed by the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy.
