Grado en Global Studies

The Grado en Global Studies at Universidad de Salamanca trains students to analyze and evaluate global problems in government organizations, non-governmental organizations, and international consulting firms. It also builds the ability to propose new regional or local responses to political, economic, and social problems connected to international, transnational, and global dynamics. Training focuses on migrations, ethnicity, religion, race, and gender, and prepares students for postgraduate specialization in the areas that structure the degree, such as political science, international law, international relations, economics, and sociology.

Studies last 4 years and are organized into basic formation subjects (60 ECTS), compulsory subjects (120 ECTS), electives (54 ECTS), and the final degree project (6 ECTS). Teaching and assessment are conducted entirely in English. The program also suggests a semester at another European university and includes a wide offer of extracurricular voluntary external placements at institutions such as AECID, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the United Nations World Tourism Organization.

• Superation of the access tests established for admission to the university under the Spanish national regulations and under the Universidad de Salamanca regulations for Spanish and European Union students, and for students from third countries.
• English language knowledge certificate at level B2 according to the MCER or higher, by means of official certification or proof of having studied prior studies in English during upper secondary education. If neither option is available, students must demonstrate their level by completing one of the listed proficiency tests: F
