Grado en Historia Del Arte

The Grado en Historia del Arte at Universidad de Salamanca is designed for students to gain general knowledge in the History of Visual, Audiovisual, and Space Arts, within a Universal General History. It emphasizes the dynamic links between these arts and other cultural expressions, including Literature and Music. Graduates can carry out critical analysis of artistic events and objects and prepare for further research.

The degree lasts 4 years, totaling 240 ECTS. Teaching is organized into 6-ECTS semester subjects. Basic training is 60 ECTS, delivered in the first year, including some subjects shared with other degrees in the Faculty. Compulsory subjects cover 138 ECTS across the second, third, and fourth years, grouped into three thematic blocks: Universal General Art History; Knowledge of historical-artistic heritage; and Systematic and integrated knowledge of the artistic event. Electives total 36 ECTS across the last four semesters, and the Final Degree Project is 6 ECTS in the last semester.

To enroll in this degree, no special conditions or tests are planned other than the general ones established by the basic state regulations.
