Grado en Ingenieria Electrica

The Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at Universidad de Salamanca trains students to carry out measurements, calculations, valuations, assessments, inspections, reports, drawings, and similar work related to switchgear and electrical power and control installations. It also prepares graduates to design, build, bring into operation, and manufacture electrical equipment and installations in an industrial way, meeting technical, economic, quality, and safety requirements. Course objectives include advising, managing, directing, organizing, and supervising electrical development in high-, medium-, and low-voltage contexts.

The degree totals 240 ECTS, organized into basic training subjects (60 ECTS), compulsory subjects (138 ECTS), elective subjects (30 ECTS), and the final degree project (12 ECTS). Students have the option to study double degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, or in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Electronics and Automation. The degree enables the regulated profession of Industrial Technical Engineer.

• The degree is aimed preferably at students who completed in Upper Secondary Education (Bachillerato) Science and Technology with Mathematics, Physics, and Technical Drawing.
• It is also aimed at students who completed Higher Vocational Training (Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior) related to Electricity.
• Recommended subjects include Technical Drawing II, Electrotechnics, Physics, Mathematics II, and Industrial Technology II.
• Applicants should have the ability for scientific reasoning and problem-solving to project, direct, and coordinate activities related to Electrical Engineering, and a study work habit and dedication.
• Spanish language level requirement: B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (MCERL) for cases where the native language is not Spanish.
• To enroll, there are no special conditions or tests beyond the general conditions set by basic state regulations.
• Students with partial official university studies who want admission must consult the requirements in the “Traslado de expediente” section of the degree’s Academic Guide.

• Spanish language level requirement (for non-native speakers): B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (MCERL).

• Industrial Technical Engineer (regulated profession).
