Grado en Ingenieria Mecanica Eps de Zamora

The Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad de Salamanca (E.P.S. de Zamora) trains students for project work in industrial engineering, including construction, repair, installation, and operation of mechanical structures, mechanical equipment, energy and electrical/electronic installations, and industrial plants and manufacturing and automation processes. The plan also includes project management and problem solving, with work on measurements, calculations, valuations, reports, and work that uses required specifications, regulations, and standards.

The degree is organized as 240 ECTS, split into basic training (60 ECTS), compulsory subjects (150 ECTS), optional subjects (18 ECTS), and a final degree project (12 ECTS). It is delivered in two centres: the Escuela Técnica Industrial de Ingenieros Industriales de Béjar and the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Zamora. Each centre offers a different set of optional subjects. It also includes the regulated profession outcome of qualifying as an Industrial Technical Engineer.

To enroll in this degree, there are no special conditions or tests other than the general requirements set by the basic state regulations.

• The degree is aimed especially at students who have completed Bachillerato de Ciencia y Tecnología or Higher Vocational Training Cycles (CFGS) related to machinery, structures, vehicles, and manufacturing.
• Students should have strong skills related to these fields and good knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and topics related to ICT.

If a student’s mother tongue is not Spanish, it is mandatory to prove a level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (MCERL).

• Qualification to practice the regulated profession of Industrial Technical Engineer (Ingeniero Técnico Industrial).
