Grado en Ingenieria Mecanica Ets de Ingenieria Industrial de Bejar

The Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering prepares students for work in industrial engineering projects covering construction, reform, repair, conservation, demolition, manufacturing, installation, assembly, operation, and related processes. It also focuses on directing activities connected to these projects and on applying basic and technological knowledge to learn new methods. Students develop abilities for problem-solving, decision-making, communication, measurement and calculations, and using required specifications, regulations, and standards.

The degree is organized as a plan with 240 ECTS: 60 ECTS of basic training subjects, 150 ECTS of compulsory subjects, 18 ECTS of optional subjects, and a final degree project worth 12 ECTS. It is taught in two centres, the School of Industrial Engineering Engineers of Béjar and the Higher Polytechnic School of Zamora, with different optional-subject lists at each centre. The plan also includes options for double degrees in Electrical Engineering or in Mechanical Engineering plus Electronic Industrial and Automation.

This degree is directed especially at students who have completed Science and Technology Bachelor studies or Higher Vocational Training cycles related to machinery, structures, vehicles, and manufacturing. Students should also stand out in skills related to those fields and have good knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and subjects related to ICT.

If the student’s native language is not Spanish, it is mandatory to prove B2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (MCERL).
