Grado en Ingenieria Mecanica Y en Ingenieria Electronica Industrial Y Automatica

The Universidad de Salamanca offers a Double Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Electronic Engineering and Automation. It combines the objectives and general and specific competencies of the two underlying degrees and leads to eligibility for the regulated profession of Industrial Technical Engineer.

The programme is a specific study plan with a defined code and a determined annual number of places. It requires full-time dedication and totals 276 ECTS across 10 semesters (5 academic years). Credit types are distributed as 60 ECTS for basic training, 186 ECTS for compulsory subjects, 6 ECTS for electives, and 24 ECTS for the final degree projects.

Students enroll in subjects from both degrees and are assigned to specific groups in each degree. For practical classes, group assignment is made to be compatible with the timetable, and the programme ensures compatible evaluation calendars across both degrees. Administrative management is handled by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial (ETSII) de Béjar.

This Double Degree is designed for students with the capacity for scientific reasoning and problem-solving of real cases that allows them to plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Electronic Engineering and Automation. It also highlights the need for work habits, study dedication, and interest in engineering challenges.

• It suggests having completed Bachillerato, taking Mathematics, Physics, and Technical Drawing options, followed by university entrance examinations.
• Access modalities include new entry and continuation of university studies.
• For new entry, the programme applies the subject-weighting criteria from Bachillerato for university access set for each degree.
• For continuation of studies, admission requests include cases with partial Spanish university studies from another university and/or official Spanish university studies with recognition of at least 30 credits.
