Grado en Lenguas Literaturas Y Culturas Romanicas

This undergraduate degree, Grado en Lenguas, Literaturas y Culturas Románicas, focuses on the joint and comparative study of three Romance languages of the European Union (French, Italian, and Portuguese), along with Spanish and two courses of Latin. The programme aims for an independent-user level (B2) in these languages, and it also covers general bases of linguistics and literary studies, plus an introduction to analytical elements of culture and human sciences.

All students share a large common core in the first two years with other degrees from the Faculty of Philology. This shared core includes transversal basic training, basic philological training (such as a second language, general linguistics, and theory of literature), and a common catalogue of elective subjects with introductory content. This shared design allows students to orient their curriculum more toward linguistic, literary, or cultural study, and it supports credit transfer between degrees.

As a change compared with other curricular models, the last course includes two seminars for career orientation and work integration, where students are prepared to plan for their academic or professional future. The degree is delivered alongside other degrees in the Faculty of Philology.
