Grado en Matematicas

The Grado en Matemáticas at Universidad de Salamanca prepares students with a solid and rigorous foundation in algebra, geometry, mathematical analysis, numerical analysis, probability, and statistics. It is designed to help students understand and develop mathematical theories, methods, and models with both fundamental and applied focus. It also trains students to analyze the nature and methods of different fields in mathematics and their historical evolution, and to apply logical, analytical, and abstract thinking to problem-solving.

For the Plan, the degree has 240 ECTS. It is organized into basic training (60 ECTS), compulsory subjects (90 ECTS), elective subjects (84 ECTS), and the final degree project (6 ECTS). Electives are grouped into three study paths: academic, technical, and social. The university also offers a double degree in Physics and Mathematics. Student support includes a welcome plan for new entrants and institutional services such as the Service of Promotion, Information and Orientation (SPIO) and the Service of Social Affairs (SAS).

This degree is aimed, preferably, at students who completed Bachillerato in the Sciences and Technology track, with Mathematics II as a specific subject.

To enroll in this degree, there are no special conditions or tests other than the general requirements set by the basic state regulations.

Students whose native language is not Spanish must provide proof of a level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
