Grado en Quimica

The BSc in Chemistry at Universidad de Salamanca aims to provide a solid, balanced education across different areas of chemistry, including theoretical, methodological, and applied fundamentals, with a historical perspective. It develops the ability to recognize chemistry’s presence in nature, science, and technology, and to apply chemistry in industrial, economic, environmental, and social contexts. It also focuses on ethics in professional practice and supports access to specialization and continuing training.

The program totals 240 ECTS and is organized into basic training (60 ECTS), compulsory courses (159 ECTS), optional courses (9 ECTS), and the final degree project (12 ECTS). At the start of each academic year, the university runs an orientation plan for new students that includes a welcome fair with presentations from the university and from public institutions and companies linked to university life, plus information sessions from the faculty about the center and learning resources.

No special conditions or tests are planned for enrollment in this degree beyond the general requirements set by the national basic regulations.

• Students whose mother tongue is not Spanish must prove a level B2 under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
