The Universidad Católica San Antonio offers a Master’s in Physical Exercise and Training for Health in a semipresential format. The course focuses on the physiological and biochemical changes caused by different types of exercise in people with various pathologies or risk factors, and on using exercise as a method for treatment and health improvement.
Students learn the theoretical and practical fundamentals for using physical exercise to address different diseases, design exercise programs, and adjust them based on individual needs and results. The training also covers the design of exercise tasks for people with a pathology and the application of training principles and periodization oriented toward health. The program has 60 ECTS and is delivered in Murcia.
