The Master in Sports Management is an online master’s degree that covers sports business topics such as operations management, finance for management, strategic management and analytics, economics and geopolitics, and sports business management and strategy. It also includes modules on sports law, human resources, leadership and organisation in sports, high-performance sport and management of athletes, global sports business and industry, sports governance, ethics and integrity, sports economics, and sports marketing and event management.
The program is delivered online in a flexible format over 1 year. It includes a set of business fundamentals modules, sports industry modules, talent development modules, and sports marketing and digital transformation modules. Students complete a multidimensional final project (capstone) that applies skills to examine a specific idea or problem in a real-world setting and develop a solution, either research-focused or problem-solving focused.
The qualification is a Master of Science (MSc) in Management (Sports Management). The program awards an official postgraduate diploma and includes visits to organizations such as FC Valencia, Real Betis, and Camp Nou.
