The Master’s Degree Accounting via distance learning prepares students for the preparation, analysis, interpretation, and use of accounting information to guide and control a business enterprise. It covers profit planning, budgeting, standards, budgeting, cost-volume-profit analysis, short-run decision making, standard costing, cost accounting systems, and the statement of cash flows, with an emphasis on management decisions.
The online distance-learning structure uses 70% textbooks and 30% project. The program includes 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program. The course composition includes 27 academic credits for Accounting Online and 13 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis.
