Master S Degree Archaeology

The Master’s Degree in Archaeology via distance learning explores the conceptual frameworks used by archaeologists to explain the history of cultures, cultural reconstruction, and prehistory. The program focuses on terminology, typologies, and interregional comparisons. It includes coursework related directly to the student’s concentration and a research methodology component.

Students study through a structured online distance-learning format. The program structure is 70% textbooks and 30% project. It requires 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program, with coursework including “Archaeology Online” and a research methodology and final project or thesis component.

Admission is open for adults over 25 years of age. Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree or an international equivalent, with the Bachelor’s described as 3 to 4 years of study. Background in this field of study is recommended.
