Master S Degree Comparative Literature

This Master’s Degree in Comparative Literature via distance learning focuses on reading, understanding, and enjoying literature from various countries in different forms of expression, including dramatic, lyric, narrative, and rhetorical. It provides a comparative study of themes and motifs common to world literature across representative periods.

Learning is delivered through distance learning. The program structure is 70% textbooks and 30% project, with 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program. The course work includes Comparative Literature Online and a research methodology component with a final project or thesis.

Admission is open for adults over 25 years of age. Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent (3 to 4 years of study) for admission. The program is designed for adults and professionals seeking flexible distance education.
