Master S Degree Creative Writing

The Master’s Degree in Creative Writing (via distance learning) aims to develop language competence and creative potentials across genres including fiction, poetry, drama, literary and nonfiction. It also covers the art and craft of writing, plus procedures for preparing a manuscript for marketing and publication.

The program is delivered online via distance learning and provides specialized training. The structure is 70% textbooks and 30% project. Students complete 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program, including 27 academic credits for Creative Writing Online and 13 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis.

Admission is open for adults over 25 years of age. Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, with the listed requirement that it typically involves 3 to 4 years of study. This is a graduate-level continuing education course for students who have a recommended background in the field of study.
