Master S Degree Human Rights

The Master’s Degree in Human Rights at Bircham International University via distance learning explains key issues and foundations of human rights theory. It studies the normative foundations of human rights in political theory and philosophy. The program aims to build an analytical and critical understanding of the purpose of human rights, and what can and cannot be appropriately called a human right.

Delivery is via distance learning with specialized training. The program structure is 70% textbooks and 30% project. It includes 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program, with a duration that ranges from 9 to 12 months. The structure combines Human Rights Online credits with research methodology and a final project or thesis.

Admission is open for adults over 25 years of age.

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent (3 to 4 years of study) is required for admission.
