The master’s degree in Chemical Engineering prepares students to address current challenges in chemical engineering, including sustainability, circular economy, and climate change, using technological bases linked to Industry 4.0. It provides advanced training for engineers to adapt to responsible roles in chemical engineering in companies, research centres, university settings, or public administration.

The programme runs for 2 academic courses and totals 120 ECTS. Teaching is in the afternoon and delivered face to face. Students complete courses across areas including data analysis and pattern recognition, polymer physics, chemical reaction and catalytic engineering, process technologies, control and instrumentation, sustainability and circular economy, and end with a Master’s Final Project.

Admission criteria: academic record; degree and home university; professional experience.

It requires B2 level of English that can be accredited at the time of formalising enrolment.

• Regulated profession: master’s degree that enables the practice of the regulated profession of chemical engineer.
• Production, transformation, commercialisation, or management technical roles in any sector of the chemical industry.
• Scientific-technical roles in I+D+i departments in chemical industries.
• Continue studies to pursue a doctoral thesis in any of the three specialisations offered by the master.
