Master S Degree Journalism

This Master’s Degree in Journalism at Bircham International University reviews the history of journalism and the social responsibilities and issues facing journalism today. It covers journalism ethics, news judgment and coverage, and economic and political influences on reporting. It also considers the impact of technology in the news industry and explains newspaper production and management with new technologies.

The programme is delivered online via distance learning and provides specialized training. Students complete 70% textbooks and 30% project work, including a research methodology component and a final project or thesis. The programme requires 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s programme, with a duration that ranges from 9 to 12 months.
