Master S Degree Linguistics

Bircham International University offers a Master’s Degree in Linguistics via distance learning. The program covers structural and interpretive aspects of language, including morphology, phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, variation, and change. It also includes pragmatics, psychology of language, language acquisition, and language and the brain, with a focus on linguistic methodology.

The online distance-learning format is built from 70% textbooks and 30% project work. The program requires 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program, with 36 academic credits for Linguistics Online and 13 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. Admission is open for adults over 25 years of age, and a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent is required.
