Master S Degree Wood Science

Bircham International University offers a Master’s Degree in Wood Science via distance learning. The program studies wood structure and connects it to the properties of major wood products and the technology used. It covers wood as an industrial raw material, pulping and bleaching, tree growth and wood formation, and contemporary forest products, including lumber alternatives from veneers and particles.

The program is delivered through distance learning and includes specialized training for professionals, with practical knowledge and skills drawn from courses aligned to the student’s concentration. The study structure is 70% textbooks and 30% project. The program requires 36 to 54 academic credits and uses a composition of 21 academic credits from Wood Science Online plus other additional subjects, and 13 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis.
