The Master’s Degree in World History via distance learning provides a historical analysis of the contemporary world (XX Century) in a global perspective from the First World War to nowadays. It examines the World Wars and Peace, Cold War, social and economic patterns, neo-imperialism, decolonization, globalization, peace initiatives, and local and international effects of global conditions and events, including global terrorism.
The program is delivered online through distance learning and is structured as 70% textbooks and 30% project. It requires 36 to 54 academic credits above a Bachelor’s program and has a duration range of 9 to 12 months. The composition includes World History Online plus research methodology and a final project or thesis.
