Bachelor of Arts General Buddhist Culture

The Bachelor of Arts (General) in Buddhist Culture at Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka is a program of 30 credits. It includes core required courses for all majors that cover historical background, fundamentals, Sri Lankan Buddhist tradition, Buddhist social institutions, and culture expansion across Theravada and Mahayana traditions.

Courses are organised across first year, second year, and third year, with semesters listed for each year. The curriculum includes compulsory courses, optional courses, and auxiliary courses. Course topics include Buddhism and Management, Buddhist Aesthetics and Art, Peace, Globalization and Buddhism, Religious Tolerance, Social Issues and Buddhism, and Buddhist Communication.
