The Certificate Programme on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics from Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIT) covers cybersecurity awareness, penetration testing, cryptography and hashing, and web application security. It also includes computer forensics fundamentals and forensic work focused on data acquisition, USB flash drives, memory, networks, Windows, and mobile devices.
The programme is delivered online for 57 hours. It runs with a schedule of Saturday: 9.00 am to 12.30 pm, with a commencing date of 3rd week | October. Modules range from wargames and capture the flags to forensic analysis topics across multiple device and system types.
