About this program

The Master in Applied Statistics trains academic statisticians to play key roles in companies and research organizations. The course builds skills in statistics, academic research, statistical software programming, academic writing, and reporting.

The program lasts three years part-time and comprises 120 ECTS credits. Year one covers general statistics, research skills, and data analysis techniques, including teamwork on project assignments. Year two emphasizes data processing, computational and programming skills, and advanced multivariate analysis. Year three introduces higher-level multivariate analyses such as multilevel models and repeated measures designs, culminating in a research thesis as a final assessment.
