Mid Sweden University Tuition Fee Scholarship Sweden (Fully Explained)

Mid Sweden University offers a limited number of tuition fee scholarships for high performing new students admitted to a study programme at Mid Sweden University. The scholarships apply only to programmes that start in the autumn semesters and are listed by Mid Sweden University. Mid Sweden University offers 75% tuition fee scholarships for applicants to the listed programmes.

The scholarships are aimed at applicants who are citizens from countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland and who are required to pay tuition fees. Eligibility is linked to applying through University Admissions to one of the listed programmes and meeting the stated application timing and application fee payment conditions. The programme list includes multiple master’s and master by research options.

Selection is based on study intent and academic achievements. Study intent is evaluated through individual responses to essay questions about motivation for the programme and choice of Mid Sweden University, and how programme objectives relate to future plans and how the applicant will use new skills and competencies. Academic achievement is evaluated using supporting documents submitted when applying to Mid Sweden University through University Admissions, with priority given to applicants who applied to Mid Sweden University as their first priority.

Scholarship disbursement is handled by deducting the scholarship amount from the tuition fee invoice, rather than paying money to the student. Mid Sweden University will inform the Swedish Migration Agency that tuition fees have been paid, so no certificate is needed for residence permit application. A scholarship contract is handed out upon arrival on campus. The scholarship is valid for studies starting autumn semester and cannot be moved forward, and it can be withdrawn if required conditions are not met.

1. Applications for Mid Sweden University Tuition Fee Scholarship will be open from 10 February 2026 until 26 February 2026.

3. After applying and paying the application fee by the deadline, the applicant will receive a link to the scholarship application form by email.
4. Complete the scholarship application form and include responses to the required essay questions.
