The Bachelor in Life Sciences - Bioanalytik und Zellbiologie is a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with a focus on Bioanalytik und Zellbiologie. Students learn how to work with modern analytical, molecular, and cell biology techniques, including protein analyses, PCR, and fluorescence microscopy. The degree also supports focused study in microbiology, molecular biology, cell biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or bioanalytics.
Teaching is delivered in person. Students work in the laboratory starting in the first semester and apply theory directly in practice through laboratory practicals. The program includes contact with professionals from industry and research during lectures, and it includes work on real projects. Study abroad is possible.
After graduation, the qualification supports work in diagnostic settings, applied research, development, production, or quality control. Roles include work in sales or consulting, and graduates can also develop and run bioassays and use molecular, bioanalytical, and diagnostic methods for medical questions.
