The Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management at Business and Hotel Management School is designed to build transferable hospitality skills using operational and management perspectives. Students study topics including Hospitality and Tourism Structure and Products, Food and Beverage Service Operations I (practical lab) and II (practical lab), Hospitality Yield and Revenue Management, Sustainable Change Management for Tourism, and supervisory and business-focused modules such as eCommerce, Business Sustainability, and Supervisory Development.
The programme includes Semester 1 academic studies for 6 months and Semester 2 as an internship for 6 months in Switzerland or worldwide. Students complete 120 credits, 60 ECTS, and complete electives that total 42 credits. The internship includes employer evaluation using agreed developmental criteria, plus a written assessment reflecting on professional development.
