Bachelor of Engineering Civil

The Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) at Ndejje University is designed to build theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of modern infrastructure. Students study structural engineering, transportation engineering, water resources and environmental systems, geotechnical engineering, and construction management, supported by hands-on laboratory work, field exercises, and industry-standard engineering tools.

The course includes laboratory work and field exercises and is structured as a four-year program. It combines engineering fundamentals (such as engineering mechanics, engineering mathematics, and engineering drawing), applied civil engineering topics (such as structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, surveying, environmental engineering, and traffic and transportation engineering), and group and individual design projects.

• Direct Entry
  • Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two principal passes in Physics and Mathematics.
• Diploma Entry
  • Relevant diploma in Engineering or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE
• Mature Age Entry
  • A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination
• International Applicants
  • Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
  • Academic documents must be equated where necessary
