Diploma in Education Primary and Diploma in Early Childhood Development To Be Conducted in 23 Core Ptcs and 5 Ntcs Starting in January 2023

Kyambogo University offers two diplomas: Diploma in Education Primary (DEP) and Diploma in Early Childhood Development (DEC). The programme is described as being conducted in 23 core PTCS and 5 NTCS. Applicants study for DEP by holding a Grade III Teachers’ Certificate, and applicants for DEC by holding a Certificate in Early Childhood Development.

Applications are submitted online using the ACMIS system. After submitting the form, applicants print a pay slip and pay a non-refundable application fee. Applicants then submit certified copies of academic documents and a passport-size photograph to the selected study centre after payment. The call is for government and private admissions, with an intake starting in January.

Applicants for Diploma in Education Primary (DEP) must hold Grade III Teachers’ Certificate. Applicants for Diploma in Early Childhood Development (DEC) must hold Certificate in Early Childhood Development.
