About this program

Nkumba University offers a Diploma in Public Administration and Management that prepares students to lead and manage public organizations. Students study the principles and practices of public administration and management, including public policy, financial management, and organizational behavior.

The program includes hands-on experience through internships and practical projects. It is designed to build skills for leadership roles in the public sector and to support efficient and effective management of government organizations in Uganda.

Entry requirements

Applicants for Diploma programmes should hold:

A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a minimum of 5 passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
Uganda Advanced Level Certificate (UACE) with at least one Principal Pass, and 2 subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
A certificate obtained after post UCE study from a recognized institution;
Any equivalent Certificate besides UCE and UACE from a recognized institution.
