Diploma in Tourism Travel Hospitality Management

The Diploma in Tourism, Travel & Hospitality Management at Mountains of the Moon University covers study in tourism, travel, and hospitality management. It is a diploma programme with the programme code DTHM.

The programme has a duration of 2 Years and is Study time: Fulltime. The intake is August. Admission depends on academic qualifications, including UACE and UCE passes (or equivalents), and additional alternative routes such as a UNEB Business Studies certificate, a Mature Age Examinations Certificate, or a Higher Education Certificate in a relevant field.

At least one (1) principal pass at UACE, or its equivalent at the same sitting, and five (5) passes at UCE, or its equivalent

Or

• One (1) principal pass at UACE and a certificate in Business Studies Stage I offered by UNEB.
• A UCE certificate and a certificate in Business Studies Stage II offered by UNEB.
• Or A Certificate in Business Studies of the Uganda College of Commerce and former NCBS or its equivalent Or Certificate in Business Studies from an institution recognized by NCHE
• Or Holder of Mature Age Examinations Certificate with at least 50%. The Certificate is valid for two years from date of attainment. Applicant should be at least 22 years’ age
• Or A Higher Education Certificate in a relevant field
