The University of Dubai offers a Master of Science in Cyber Security designed to strengthen students’ knowledge in cybersecurity. The program focuses on understanding cybersecurity risks, applying modern tools to handle cyber threats, and building security capabilities in cyber space. The degree is awarded after completing 30 credit hours, made up of eight 3-credit-hour courses and a Master’s Thesis of 6 credit hours.
Students can study full-time across 4 semesters or part-time across 8 semesters. The full-time plan includes courses such as Privacy and Network Security, Cryptography, Machine Learning, Secure Software Engineering, and Cyber Physical Systems Security, followed by Research Methods and a thesis sequence. The part-time plan spreads the same core coursework and thesis across additional semesters, with two electives included in the curriculum.
