Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of and ordinarily resident in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia or South Africa.
South Africa candidates must be from a previously disadvantaged community.
Applicants must apply to and be offered a place to study a three-year or four-year programme at Imperial College London in the faculties of Engineering, Natural Sciences or the Imperial College Business School.
Applicants must demonstrate significant financial need, meaning inability to meet the costs of studying at Imperial College London.
Applicants must demonstrate potential to become leaders in their chosen fields and contribute to the future development of their home country.
It is unlikely that parents/guardians/sponsors with an annual gross household income above US$100k will qualify.
The scholarship is available to new entrants only; students already studying the course are not eligible.
Tuition fee status: Overseas.
Mode of study: Full time.
Degree level: Undergraduate.
Programmes covered: three-year or four-year programmes.
