Overview

The University of Glasgow offers Doctoral Scholarships for entry in the College of Arts and Humanities. The scholarships cover tuition fees, an annual maintenance grant at the UKRI rate, and a Research Training Support Grant. The University of Glasgow says the awards are for doctoral study in the College.

The scholarships are open to students from anywhere in the world and to new College of Arts and Humanities PhD applicants. They are available for full-time or part-time study. The University of Glasgow says applicants must first submit an application to study for a PhD before the scholarship deadline.

Funding is awarded for a minimum of 42 months, with a further six months available for bespoke training activities, internships, artist residencies, visiting research activities, and, in exceptional cases, a further funded period of study.
