University of Reading UK Offers Global Sustainability Leaders Scholarship

The Global Sustainability Leaders Scholarship is a University of Reading scholarship for high-achieving students passionate about sustainability. The University of Reading says it is investing in future leaders of a sustainable world, providing tailored sustainability leadership training (in addition to an undergraduate degree) and £6,000 a year to support living expenses as you learn.

The scholarship is available to Clearing applicants. The University of Reading says applicants need an undergraduate course offer first and that you can still apply in Clearing if you have achieved AAA at A level or equivalent (AAB for contextual offers). The University of Reading also says “whatever your background or subject of interest” it wants applicants who share its passion for environmental sustainability.

To apply, the University of Reading says you must find your undergraduate course and apply to the University of Reading, then be predicted (or have already achieved) AAA at A level (AAB for contextual offers) or an equivalent qualification. After Reading receives your UCAS application and makes you an offer, you are invited to apply for the scholarship. You then complete the scholarship application showing commitment to a sustainable future; success is confirmed by email.

The scholarship provides £6,000 a year to support living expenses and includes tailored sustainability leadership training. The University of Reading also describes additional support during the scholarship experience, including careers support, relevant networks, and connections with experts, as well as participation in cross-disciplinary learning and activities. After being offered the scholarship, you must firmly accept both your course offer and scholarship offer and meet your grades to enrol.

3. Wait for an invitation: the University of Reading says it will invite you to apply for the scholarship once it receives your UCAS application and makes you an offer.
4. Complete the scholarship application, showing your commitment to a sustainable future.
5. If successful, you will receive an email confirming you have been offered the scholarship.
6. Firmly accept both your course offer and scholarship offer at the University of Reading.
7. Meet your grades and enrol.
8. Start your studies as part of the scholarship experience.
